1. Filet mignon in the simple oven
Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon of butter at room temperature
- 3 minced garlic cloves
- 1 pinch of salt
- 1 pinch of black pepper
- rosemary to taste
- thyme to taste
- 1100 g of filet mignon
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/2 cup of water
- 1 teaspoon of cornstarch
- chopped chives to taste
Method of preparation
- Mix the butter, garlic, salt, pepper, rosemary, thyme and spread well all over the filet mignon;
- Place in a refractory, cover with plastic film and set aside for 30 minutes;
- Bake in a preheated oven at 230°C for 45 minutes;
- Meanwhile, prepare the sauce by mixing the soy sauce, water, cornstarch and chives;
- Pour the sauce over the meat and bake for another 10 minutes. Cut into slices and serve.
2. Filet mignon in the oven with soy sauce and mushrooms
Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons of butter
- 1 strand of olive oil
- 500 g of filet mignon
- soy sauce to taste
- 1 sliced onion
- chopped paris mushrooms to taste
- Pea to taste
Method of preparation
- In a large, oven-safe skillet, melt the butter, add the oil and sear the meat on all sides;
- Add the soy sauce, onion, mushrooms, peas and stir. Place the skillet in the oven preheated to 200°C;
- After 25 minutes in the oven, transfer to a platter and it’s ready.
3. Filet mignon in the oven with butter and garlic
Ingredients
- 1 kg of filet mignon
- 4 cloves of garlic
- 2 spoons of dehydrated garlic
- 6 tablespoons of vinegar
- 1 tablespoons meat seasoning
- 2 coffee spoons of salt
- 1 chopped carrot
- 1 chopped onion
- 200 g of butter
Method of preparation
- In a refractory, place the fillet, garlic and season with half of the dehydrated garlic, vinegar, meat seasoning and salt;
- Turn the meat on its side and season with the other half of the same ingredients. Set aside for 1 hour to marinate;
- Spread the carrot, onion and butter in the refractory. Cover with aluminum foil and bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for about 1 hour;
- Remove the foil, cut the meat into slices and serve as you prefer.
