3 recipes with beef marrow to get to know the flavor of this ingredient

With that in mind, these recipes with beef marrow are ideal for those who like to fully enjoy the meat – in addition to, of course, valuing a delicious and different dish. Check out:

1. Grilled marrow

Ingredients

  • 4 ox leg bones
  • 1 italian bread
  • salt
  • Black pepper
  • chimichurri

Method of preparation

  1. Season the bone with salt and pepper;
  2. Place the bones on the grill with the marrow side down for about 5 to 7 minutes;
  3. Turn the bones over and leave them on the grill for about 10 to 15 minutes;
  4. Slice the bread into slices and take it to the grill until they are slightly crispy;
  5. Place the beef marrow on top of the bread slice and finish by adding the chimichurri;
  6. enjoy!

2. Marrow crumbs

Ingredients

  • 4 ox leg bones
  • 1 tablespoon of minced garlic
  • 1 onion
  • 100 g of bacon
  • 1/2 yellow pepper
  • 1/2 green pepper
  • 3 chili peppers
  • 1 packet of cassava flour
  • Coarse salt
  • chimichurri
  • Saffron
  • Black pepper
  • green smell

Method of preparation

  1. Line a shape with coarse salt and place the beef bones on top;
  2. Season the bones with salt and chimichurri;
  3. Take the form to the oven for 25 minutes at 180ºC;
  4. Scrape the marrow from the bones and reserve in a pan;
  5. Saute garlic in marrow until golden;
  6. Add the onion and bacon to the pan and sauté;
  7. Then, add the peppers and the girl’s finger pepper;
  8. Season the stir-fry with saffron, chimichurri and black pepper;
  9. Add the flour little by little and stir until you reach the desired texture;
  10. Finish by adding the green smell;
  11. Serve while still hot and enjoy!

3. Bone broth

Ingredients

  • 2 celery
  • 2 carrots
  • 1 onion
  • 1 kg of beef bones
  • 2 tablespoons of sea salt
  • 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar
  • 5 cloves of garlic
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 1/2 bunch of parsley
  • 2 l of water

Method of preparation

  1. Cut the celery and carrots into large pieces;
  2. Slice the onion in half;
  3. Add all the ingredients to a pan, season as you prefer and let it cook for 12 hours on low heat;
  4. Reserve just the broth in a container, using a sieve to strain;
  5. Enjoy the hot broth and enjoy all its nutrients.
